Summary
WhichLeonida collects the minimum needed to run the quiz, remember your language preference, and send you a newsletter if you sign up for one. We do not sell your data, and we do not enrich or resell it.
What runs in your browser
- Theme and language cookies — one small
localStoragevalue each for your theme (darkorlight) and your language choice. Set only after you interact with the controls. - Real Dimez tie-break cookie — one small
localStoragevalue (wl_dimez) storing the Bae-Luxe / Roxy assignment so refreshes don’t change your result. Explained in the method page. - Quiz state — held in memory only. When you close the tab, it’s gone.
None of these values are sent to our server.
Analytics
We use privacy-preserving analytics that do not set third-party cookies, do not track you across sites, and do not fingerprint your browser. Aggregated visits and top pages only.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we collect your email address and pass it to our newsletter provider (Buttondown). We use double opt-in for EU visitors. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email in one click. We do not use the email address for anything except sending the newsletter you subscribed to.
Data retention
- Analytics: aggregated, no individual retention.
- Newsletter: kept while you are subscribed. Deleted within 30 days of unsubscription.
- Browser storage: kept until you clear site data or the browser expires it.
Your rights
Under GDPR and equivalent frameworks, you can:
- Ask us what data we hold on you (in practice: your email if you subscribed).
- Ask us to delete that data.
- Object to processing.

Cookies notice
Because we do not use tracking cookies and only rely on functional localStorage values, no
cookie consent banner is shown. If you disagree, clear your site data and stop using the
site.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated field at the top of this page reflects the
new date and we announce the change in the next newsletter.
